Obituary
Funeral services for Gary Wayne Churchman, 54, of Mobil, Alabama, formerly of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Blanchard Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568 Honor Guard. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, June 19, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Churchman was born August 18, 1960 in Kaufman, Texas to parents, Fred J. Churchman and Mary (Berryhill) Churchman, and passed away June 14, 2015 in Mobil, Alabama. During his life, he proudly served his country in the Unites States Coast Guard; which he retired from in 2006. He is preceded in death by his father; previous father-in-law, William S. Williams; and good friend, Scott.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Churchman of Mobil, Alabama; mother, Mary Churchman of Livingston, Texas; brothers, David Churchman and Ralph Churchman both of Livingston, Texas; sister-in-law, Teresa Churchman of Livingston, Texas; nieces, Kendall Gibbons and Zach of McKinney, Texas, Krystal Harwell and David of Livingston, Texas, Kara Churchman of Livingston, Texas, and Chelsea Henderson and Cade of Livingston, Texas; great-nieces and nephews, Krislynn Harwell of Livingston, Texas, Garrett Gibbons of McKinney, Texas, Aubrey Gibbons of McKinney, Texas, and Isaac Gibbons of McKinney, Texas; along with numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers: Jerry Murphy, Rocky Richards, Mike Hatton, Cade Henderson, Harold Richardson, James Culp, Wayne Munson, Barney Carpenter
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project – 2200 Space Park Dr., Ste. 100; Houston, Texas 77058
