Memorial services for Gary "Squeak" Lynn Reed, 63 of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13th in the funeral home.

Gary "Squeak" Reed was born February 6, 1957 in Texarkana, Arkansas to parents Lester Reed and Delores (Statler) Reed and passed away on November 28, 2020 in Livingston, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jeremy Ashton Reed; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.  Gary Reed, known by those who loved him as "Squeak," was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. He worked hard every day to provide for his family and loved his wife and family dearly. Squeak never failed to make those around him laugh; whether it was the way he talked, his antics, or that his idea of fixing something was hitting it with a hammer. His holiday idea of fun was trying to blow the house up with fireworks, even if that meant putting them in a muffler cannon. He will be missed dearly and in our hearts forever.

Squeak is survived by his wife, Julia (Flores) Reed of Livingston, Texas; sons, Eric Hagmeyer and Heather of Haugton, Louisiana, Christopher Reed and Taylor of Ringold, Louisiana, Jeremy Reed and Ashley of Livingston, Texas and Alex Reed, also of Livingston, Texas; brother, Eardie Reed and Linda; sister, Geraldine Moore and Curtis; granddaughters, Erica Hagmeyer, Jewell Reed, Alaina Manshack; grandsons, Karson 'Reed, Ace Reed, Easton Reed; granddaughters, Irelynn Reed and Oaklynn Reed; along with numerous nieces, nephews,  other relatives and friends.
