Funeral services for Gary K. Maze, 61, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Denton Maze officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2023, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., before the service begins.

Mr. Maze was born November 19, 1961 in Livingston, Texas and passed away November 6, 2023 in Livingston, Texas, surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his son, Caleb Maze; parents, Herman Maze and Doris (Owens) Maze; grandson, Rusty Maze; brother, Darrell Maze; and sister, Doris Vasileadis.

Gary was known as a kind hearted man that loved his family and loved to fish. He was employed by Livingston Independent School District in the maintenance department and retired after 31 years. He made many friends over the years and loved his job.

Mr. Maze is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ethan and Allyson Maze of Huntington, Texas, and Nolan and Randee Maze of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Larry Maze and Donnis Maze of Livingston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Leslie Maze of Livingston, Texas; sister, Teresa Maze of Livingston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy Maze Doucett and Cody of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Dawson Maze, Hudson Maze, Mason Maze, Waylon Maze, Wrynlee Maze and Wade Maze; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gary will be greatly missed by his family.

The family would like to give special recognition to Pam Cude, who he always called his other sister. Thank you for being such a good friend to our Dad and brother.
