Gene Dueboay 71 of Livingston passed away Tuesday June 24, 2008 at his home. Funeral services will be Friday June 27, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. John Page officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday June 26, 2008 from 5:00PM until 10:00PM at the Cochran Funeral Home.

Gene was born May 7, 1937 in Houston, Texas to parents John Edward Dueboay and Lena Damon Dueboay. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Shirley Placker.

He is survived by his wife Ann Dueboay of Livingston, sons Boyd Dueboay and wife Polly of Livingston, Ricky Dueboay and wife Holly of Huntsville, sister Joyce Shaver of Houston, brothers Howard Dueboay and wife Nancy of Onalaska, Donald Dueboay and wife Juanita of Houston, and his grandchildren Jody and Trey Owen, Stephanie Dueboay, Trish Ann Dueboay, Ashley Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Terah Dueboay, Jayci Dueboay, Kalyn Dueboay. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Carter Dueboay, Ava Beth Owen, and Brady Owen.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Sanders Jr., Curtis Wayne Mueck, Mark Mueck, Gary Dueboay, Michael Dueboay, Larry Shaver, Trey Owen, and Joey Glover. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Hasselbach, Jim McGee, Joe Stuckey, and Barney Hollingshed.
