Funeral services for Geneva Herring Redden, 90, of Livingston, will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, January 6, 2020 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in Peebles Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service time, beginning at 11:00am.

Mrs. Redden, or "Maw-Maw" as most of her family called her, was born on September 28, 1929 in Nogalus Prairie, Texas to parents, Ernie and Willie Herring. She passed away on January 2, 2020 in a local hospital surrounded by family.  She grew up in the Possum Walk Community near Groveton, Texas. She later married Junior B. Redden on March 1, 1947 in Groveton.

Survivors include her son, Larry B. Redden, Sr. of Livingston; daughter, Connie Jo Redden Hopper and husband Bobby of Humble; grandsons, Larry B. Redden, Jr. and wife Tracy, Ricky Redden and wife Pamela, and Kevin Redden; granddaughter, Brandi McNallen and husband Mike; great-grandchildren: Tori, Lacey, Emma, Abby, Ashley, Justin, Cheyenne, Codi, Lauren, Kevin Jr., Bobby, Billy, and Randi; four great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Redden on January 25, 2008; grandson, Ronnie Wooten; brothers, Travis Pilgreen and A.J. Herring; sister, Mae Pilgreen Davis; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Redden.

She will be escorted to her final resting place by pallbearers: Larry Redden, Jr., Ricky Redden, Kevin Redden, Justin Redden, Codi Redden, Billy Carlile, and Kevin Redden, Jr.
