Funeral Services for George Owen Crist, age 95 of Livingston, will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, Livingston, Texas with Rev. Irwin Mott officiating. Interment will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery.

George was born on May 30, 1917, in Sherman, Texas to parents, John W. Crist and Ethel (Harris) Crist and passed away on June 23, 2012, in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, John W. and Ethel Crist; wife, Ruby Crist; son William ""Skeet"" Crist; brothers, Wesley Crist and Raymond Crist; and sisters, Lorene Elmore and Marie Cummins.

He is survived by his son, Mike Crist of Lake Jackson, Texas; grandson, Steve Crist; granddaughter, Cindy Kirby; granddaughter, Terrie Simpson; granddaughter, Judy Mitchell; great grandson Wyatt Kirby; and great granddaughter, Mist Crist; and numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.
