George Harrison, age 81 of Livingston, TX passed away in Lufkin, TX on January 15, 2012. He was born on July 29, 1930 in Spur, TX to parents, George W. Harrison and Nana Belle Odom Harrison. George was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He retired from the U.S. Army.

George is preceded in death by his parents, George and Nana Harrison; brother, Donnie Harrison; and sister Reba Hoden. He is survived by his wife, Leanna Harrison of Livingston; two daughters and their husbands, Diana and Johnny Cross of Sulphur Springs and Marvela and David Paschall of Austin; son and wife, Danny and Mickie Pritchett of Delhart; grandchildren, Colbie Cross, Christie Phillips and husband, Brian, Lindi Pritchett, Saige Casey, Shannon Van den Heever and husband, Ian, Dylan Paschall and Margo Paschall and fianc??, Christian Kolquist; great grandchildren, Cross Parker Phillips, Matthew Lees, Aniston Lees, Abigail Simmons and Adriaan Van den Heever; three brothers and their wives, Cliff and Pam Harrison of Hot Springs Village, Ark, Jack & Joann Price Harrison of Grove OK and Euel & Jeanie Harrison of Hamilton, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.

In lieu of flowers donations bay be made to Hospice in the Pines.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Rev. James Frazier and Bro. Roy Hall will conduct the service. Danny Pritchett will provide a special reading. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568.
