George "Pete" Jones, 64, of Livingston, Texas, was born June 14, 1959 in Livingston, Texas and passed away September, 28, 2023 in Lufkin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Winford Jones and Ruth Marie (McClure) Jones; and brother, Doug Jones.

Pete is survived by his son, Josh Jones of Huntington, Texas; daughter, Stephanie Jones of Lufkin, Texas; sister-in-law, Irene Jones; and nieces, Linda, Glenda, and Brenda; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
