Funeral services for George A. Noles age 68, of Goodrich, will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, with Rev. Danny Moye officiating with interment to follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be Bradley Smith, Keith Gray, Karl Gray, Charles Owens, Robert Packard, Johnny Collins, Matthew Owens, Gerald Munson and Robert Baker. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Owens, Gene Gray and Gerald Bentley. Military Honors provided by VFW Post #8568.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rubie Carolyn Owens Noles.
George was born August 22, 1941 in El Campo, Texas the son of George Alvis Noles, Sr. and Mary Hibler Noles, and passed away September 28, 2009 in Houston, Texas.
He belonged to the Carpenters Union Local #551 for over 50 years, he loved to hunt and fish and being in the outdoors. He worshiped his wife, children and grandchildren and loved his dog Sugar.
He is survived by his son John Noles, of Nacogdoches, daughter & son in law, Billie Jean and Robert Packard, of Chireno, Texas, grandchildren, Christina & Jeremy Winsch, Bradley Smith, and Shaylynn Packard, great grandchildren, Madison Winsch, Jeremy Winsch, Nolan Winsch, and Jackson Winsch, brothers in law, Chip Owens, James Owens and Gene Gray, and sisters in law, Jan Gray, Ann Owens, and Janet Owens.
