Memorial service for George Franklin Sheppard, age 70 of Huntsville, TX and former resident of Livingston, TX. will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston with Chaplain Ron Edgington Sr. officiating.

Mr. Sheppard was born on October 18, 1941 in Livingston, TX to parents, Charles Wyatt Sheppard and Jo Geneva Chessher Sheppard. He passed away on April 16, 2012 at his home in Huntsville, TX. He was active in youth sports.

Mr. Sheppard is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Brian Taylor of Fort Worth, TX; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Curtis and Christine Taylor of St. Louis, MO; son and daughter-in-law, Geoff and Michelle Sheppard of Kingwood, TX; grandchildren, Charlie Sheppard, Genevieve Sheppard and Wyatt Sheppard; mother of his children, Carol Sheppard of Huntsville, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Woody Nelson of Tomball; nephew, Kent Nelson; nephew and niece-in-law, Rod and Dawn Nelson; great nieces and great nephew, Emily Nelson, Eliza Nelson and Alex Nelson; aunt and uncle, Bess and Robert Baker of Tomball, TX and numerous cousins.
