Funeral services for George Allen Smith, 88, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, Livingston, Texas with Rev. Fred Alford officiating. Pallbearers will be Trevor Johnson, Jim Durham, Calvin Zamzow, Donny Hambly, Troy Eckard and Phillip Zamzow. Honorary pallbearers will be Ramin Nosrat, Carl Davidson, Jack Thomas, Marvin Bush and Ed Sheridan. Interment to follow at Memorial Cemetery in Dayton, Texas. Visitation will be held beginning at noon on day of service.

Mr. Smith was born on June 3, 1925, in Dayton, Texas to parents, William Thomas and Leatrice Smith, and passed away on January 9, 2014 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Leatrice Smith; wives: Lillian Smith and Viola Smith; daughter, Leatrice Nosrat; brother, Kelso T. Smith; sister, Chrystal Durham; and grandson, Michael Nosrat.

Mr. Smith is survived by his daughter, Tina Marie Johnson of Katy, Texas; grandchildren: Michelle Nosrat, Maria Norsrat, Trevor Johnson and Tracie Johnson; son-in-law, Ramin Nosrat; Niece: Marsha Xomzow and Nephew, Jim Durham; and a host of other family and friends.
