Obituary
George ""G.C"" Springer 84 of Livingston passed away Thursday April 23, 2009. Graveside services will be held Sunday April 26, 2009 at 2:00PM in the Peebles Cemetery with Rev. David Jones officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday April 25, 2009 in the Cochran Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 9:00PM.
George was born November 13, 1924 in Arkansas to parents Grover Cleveland Springer and Ira Alice Farmer Springer.
He was a proud United States Veteran serving in the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patsy Ruth Springer, 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Springer of Livingston, children Clifford Fay, Freddie Fay and wife Bonnie, Sherrie Nettles and husband Lance, Debbie Read and husband J.R., Randy Springer and wife Frances, Dennis Springer and husband Shanna, Angie Johnson and husband Eddie, Gary Sills and wife Donna, and Dennis Sills and wife Valerie. He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
