Obituary
Funeral services for Georgie Belle Hunter, 67, of Goodrich, Texas, will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Michael Nix officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.
Mrs. Hunter was born August 3, 1948 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to parents, John Garland Farris and Leslie Mae (Patterson) Farris, and passed away February 14, 2016 in League City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Howard Hunter, as well as her mom and dad and several siblings.
She is survived by her sister, Kathy Moore and Ernest; brother, David Farris and Vicky of Mississippi; 2 daughters, Sherry Starkweather of Cleveland, Texas, Valerie Coldwell and Tom of League City, Texas; grandchildren, Latisha Starkweather, Thomas Coldwell II, Zachariah Coldwell; 7 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
