Funeral services for Gerald Emory Battise age 68 of Grand Prairie, Texas will be held Thursday January 6, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Indian Village Presbyterian Church with Elder Debra Battise-Kleinman, CLP and Bro. Rudy Martinez officiating with interment following in the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be Mark Kaulaity, Josh Kaulaity, Chris Omalza, Peter Seahmer, Kevin Battise, Joey Silva, Ryan Daniel and Bruce Battise. Honorary Pallbearers will be Parker Kaulaity, Antonio Silva, Foster Bullock, Jr., Anthony Hasley, Floyd Hasley, Jr., Gary Bullock, Sr., Burton Bullock, and Brady Bullock.

He was born July 12, 1942 in Livingston, Texas the son of Alfred Battise and Velma Bullock Battise and passed away January 3, 2011 in Irving, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lester Battise, Wyman Battise, Dean Battise and Karlwood Battise, nephews Lonnie Battise and Lester Battise, Jr.

He is survived by Lisa Battise, daughter of Grand Prairie, Texas, Maxine Battise Silva, sister of San Augustine, Texas, Victoria Battise, mother of his child of Grand Prairie, Texas ,Bobby Bolton, friend of Grand Prairie, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends also survive.
