Graveside services for Gerald Black, 79, of Louisville, Kentucky formerly of Livingston, Texas, will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 2, 2022, in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Chaplain Lynn Fontenot officiating.
Mr. Black was born August 29, 1942 in Carthage, Texas to parents, Henderson Black and Onie Bell (Duck) Black, and passed away June 29, 2022 in Winnie. Texas. He was a part of the graduating class of 1960 from Livingston High School. Mr. Black was an avid bass fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wallace and Magelene Placker.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Black of Winnie Texas; son, Gerald Ray Black of Clarksville, Tennessee; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Edward Bogie of Winnie, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Ray and Amanda Black of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Darla LeClerc of Southport, North Carolina; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A special thank you Amy Campbell of Accent Hospice in Beaumont for the loving care that was shown to Gerald.
