The family requires that anyone wishing to attend the visitation and/or the graveside service, must practice social distancing and wear a facial covering. Graveside services for Gerald Wayne Snook, 78, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Wayne Bickley officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Snook was born January 19, 1942 in Houston, Texas to parents, Bert Norwood Snook and Frances Theresa (Damon) Snook and passed away December 12, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Clara Snook; sister, Lena Mae Johnson; and brothers, Eugene Snook, JV Snook, Olan Snook, and James Snook. During his life, Mr. Snook proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was one of the founding members of the VFW Post #8568.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Vess and husband, Gary Jr. of Livingston; daughter, Beverly Davis and husband, Clint of Livingston; son, Cecil Snook of Livingston; brother, George "Buddy" Elbert Snook of Livingston; sister, Nanette Daic of Houston; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
