Gertrude Jones 88, of Livingston passed away Wednesday January 14, 2009 at Pine Ridge Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Saturday January 17, 2009 at 11:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Prairie Cemetery.

Gertrude was born February 5, 1920 in Joaquin,Texas to parents Charlie and Ella R. Woods Coyle. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lytell Jones, and sisters LuLa Littles, and M.J. Collins.

She is survived by her son Calvin Jones and wife Nelda of Leggett, brother Ray Coyle and wife Katherine of Conroe, granddaughters Leslie Burks and husband Sean of Corrigan, Amanda Lawson and husband Brian of Corrigan, and great grandchildren Kathryn Burks, Calvin Burks, and William Lawson. A host of nieces and nephews also survive her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Burks, Brian Lawson, J.B. Jones, Corry Hones, L. R. Kemp, and Alvin Jones. Honorary pallbearer will be Melvin Jones.
