Obituary
Funeral Services for Gervin Bebe Rowan Polite, age 31, of Livingston, will be held Friday, April 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation Gymnasium in Livingston. Interment to follow in the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Alabama-Coushatta Reservation Gymnasium on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 6:00 PM.
He was born September 11, 1979 in Woodville, Texas to Ervin K. Polite and Maudine Abbey and passed away March 27, 2011 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Ervin K. Polite, paternal grandfather, Lawrence Battise and daughter, Priscilla Lawson.
Gervin is survived by his daughter, Tessah Marie Tipton of Livingston, mother and father, Maudine and Lloyd Abbey of Oberlin, Louisiana, brother and sister in law, Cedric and Leeann Polite of Oberlin, Louisiana, niece and nephew, Selynn Alice and Lendrick Polite of Oberlin, Louisiana, aunt, Jerlynn Mullins of Livingston, uncle and aunt, Elvis and Diane Battise of Livingston, grandmother, Bernice Polite of Livingston, uncles, Baxter Polite, Ardie and Maxine Polite and family, aunt Labertta Williams and family, all of Livingston. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
