Gilbert Calcote, 75, died Monday, August 16, 2010 at his home in Livingston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Maurice Calcote of Livingston, TX, Nora Breaux (mother) of Deer Park, TX, Kathy Moody (daughter) of Livingston, TX, Darrel Calcote (son) of Splendora, TX, Robert Moore (brother) of Nederland, TX, Georgina Carmichael (sister) of Deer Park, TX, Chris Sanders, Bryan Sanders (grandchildren) , Corey Moody, Amanda Mosher, Daniel Calcote (grandchildren) , Tyler Sanders, Katlynn Sanders (great great grandchildren) , Zachary Sanders, Christopher Sanders (great great grandchildren) , Damon Calcote, and Tyler Calcote, Josh Mosher (great great grandchildren).
He was born January 22, 1935, the son of Carl and Nora Calcote. Pallbearers were Chris Sanders, Bryan Sanders, Corey Moody , Daniel Calcote, Steve Mosher and Keith Smith. He served in the Marines and the military honors were provided by VFW Post 8568.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Cary Baskin will be officiating. Burial will be in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston.
