Memorial services for Gilbert Silva, 70, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Sunday, March 14, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Gill Silva and Joshua Silva officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. immediately following the service.

Mr. Silva was born September 21, 1950 in Mesquite, Texas to parents, Benjamin Silva and Santos (Quijano) Silva, and passed away March 3, 2021 in Conroe, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ana Maria Silva; and daughter, Bonnie Silva.

He is survived by his sons, Joshua Gil Silva of Cleveland, Texas, Gill Ramon Silva and wife, Carissa of Baytown, Texas, Moses Gonzalez of Pasadena, Texas and Gilbert Silva Jr. and wife, Jill of Phoenix, Arizona; daughters, Kathylynn Bonnie Harris and husband, Marvin of Cleveland, Texas, Michelle Santos Silva and husband, Rigoberto of Cleveland, Texas, Kimberly Ruth Norris and husband, Alec of Porter, Texas, Ruthy Rodarte and husband, Teo of El Paso, Texas, and Angela Garcia and husband, Emigdio of Karker Heights, Texas; grandchildren, Isabella Ana Escutia, Ariel Maria Escutia, Victoria Escutia, Desiree Escutia, Diego Escutia, Shawn Michael Kern Silva, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Silva, Alec Durrett Norris Jr., Joseph Silva, Malachi Silva, Alliyah Silva, Arrayah Silva, Ruth Rodarte, and Isaac Rodarte; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
