Obituary
Gladys Jean Chatham May 78 of Livingston passed away Friday July 4, 2008 in Lufkin. Funeral services will be held Monday July 7, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Central Baptist Church in Livingston, with Rev. Barry Jeffries and Joel Salazar officiating. Burial will be at 3:00PM in the Black Jack Cemetery in Phelps. Visitation will be from 3:00PM until 5:00PM Sunday July 6, 2008 at Cochran Funeral Home.
Gladys was born October 1, 1929 in Bays Chapel, Texas to parents Alfred and Gladys Chatham, whom preceded her in death. She married her husband of 52 years Clifford May on January 21, 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She is survived by her husband Clifford May of Livingston, son Keith May and wife Brenda of Bowie, MD., daughter Melinda May of Livingston, son Mike May also of Livingston, sisters Linda Mason and husband Bill of Conroe, and Carolyn Parrott of Carmel. She is also survived by her grandsons Cory May and Marshall May both of Bowie, MD.
Serving as pallbearers will be the deacons of Central Baptist Church of Livingston.
