Obituary
Funeral services for Gladys Merle Lafitte, 84, of Webster, Texas, will be held Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Don Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.
Mrs. Lafitte was born in Weimar, Texas on November 15, 1931, to parents, Reinhard W. Brandt and Martha (Schriefer) Brandt, and passed away on December 30, 2015 in Webster, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Joe Lafitte; son, Jon Lafitte; brothers, Fred Brandt, Arnold Brandt, and Elo Brandt.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa M. Cox and husband, David of Friendswood, Texas; grandchildren, Laurie Lafitte, Andrea Pifer, Kyle Cox, and Catherine Cox; great-grandchildren, Ariana Lafitte, William Pifer, Jon Pifer, Adrian Lafitte, Nicolas Lopez and Ashtian Lopez; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
