Funeral services for Gladys Narceille Vaden, 86, of Winnie, Texas, will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Winnie, Texas with Bro. Royce Pennington and Bro. Gordon Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in the Kirbyville Cemetery in Kirbyville, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., before the service, at the First Baptist Church in Winnie, Texas.
Mrs. Vaden was born September 19, 1934 in Jasper, Texas, to parents, Ray Adams and Gladys (Taylor) Adams, and passed away August 8, 2021 in Winnie, Texas. During her lifetime, she worked for the City of Trinity for 7 years, Texas public schools for 32 years, and was a veteran pianist and organist. She is preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Cody Lee Thompson.
She is survived by her husband, Alvie Cecil Vaden Sr. of Winnie, Texas; daughter, Ramona Carolyn Vaden Aly and Rev. Randy Aly of Hearne, Texas; son, Alvie Cecil Vaden Jr. and Clisty of Porter, Texas; son, Michael Ray Vaden and Yavanae of Lindale, Texas; son, Retired Lt. Col. David Wayne Vaden and Carmel of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; daughter, Rhonda Kaye Vaden Drumm and Terry of Lumberton, Texas; daughter, Celicia Anne Vaden Moeller of Winnie, Texas; daughter, Dr. Marla Michelle Vaden Hinckley and Dr. Shane Hinckley of McComb, Mississippi; 17 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild, along with many other relatives and friends.
