Glee "Pappy" Handshoe, born September 17, 1947, Orange Township, Michigan to father, Coett Handshoe and mother, Hazel (Bailey) Handshoe and passed away April, 27, 2023. His parents were buried in Hueysville, Kentucky.

"Pappy" went into the Army on 6/6/66 and received Flag Orders from the White House. He also received secret clearance in 1967 and was sent to the divided city of Berlin, Germany where he was a member of the Special Berlin Troops. He served there for 6 months and then went to Vietnam where he served 1 year and was exposed to Agent Orange. Mr. Handshoe was honorably discharged on May, 31, 1971.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Elaine (Jernigen) Handshoe; sons, Christopher Lee Handshoe and Jordan Shane Handshoe; 2 grandkids that he loved very much, they were his life, Kimberly Elaine Bowling and Tanner Kodyray Bowling; sister and brother-in-law, Bessie Shepherd and Roger; brothers and sisters-in-law, Truman Handshoe and Ethel, Jay Handshoe and Connie, Blaine Handshoe and Judy, Stanley Handshoe and Cindy, Vaughn Handshoe and Connie; sister, Donna Handshoe. He is preceded in death by his sister and brothers, Irene Stevenson, Ross Handshoe, Dale Handshoe and Doyle Handshoe.
