Glenn was born September 19, 1941 in Livingston, Texas to parents John Thomas Lowe and Susie (Morse) Lowe and passed away May 17, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Gordon Lowe and nephews Greg Lowe, Randy Lowe and John Glenn Lowe.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Henrietta (Hardin) Lowe of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, James Lowe and Missy of Cedar Park, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Susan Patterson and Jason of Livingston, Texas; grandson, Brady Lowe; granddaughters, Kelsey Sjostrom and Jaycee Patterson; and great-grandson, August Parks Newkam-Sjostrom; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Glenn served in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962 stationed in Germany as a radio operator. He then met Henrietta in 1963, they got married in 1964, and then spent the next 61 years together by each other's side. They moved to Livingston in 1971 to raise James and Susan while he worked in the petrochemical industry as an instrumentation and electrical superintendent. He spent time working all the way up in Alaska on the pipeline in Prudhoe Bay, and eventually in La Porte, Texas. He eventually earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and worked as a project manager over capital improvement projects for Aristech Chemicals and Sunoco. He retired from Sunoco in 2002. Glenn spent his time in retirement working on his farm maintaining his equipment and helping his friends, family and neighbors. He most loved spending time with his family and grandchildren sharing his guidance and wisdom along with his big, loving heart.

The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Raymond Luna, Dr. Jeffrey Luna, and Ann Luna Winston; the ER and ICU nurses from St. Luke's Memorial Hospital - Livingston; and to Harbor Hospice, specifically, Keisha Bookman.
