Funeral services for Faye McGarrahan age 98, of Conroe, Texas and formerly a resident of Livingston, Texas will be held in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, Livingston, Texas on December 17, 2013 @ 10:00 a.m. Rev. Hollie Atkinson and Rev. Chuck Gartman will be officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Pallbearers will be: Dwayne McGarrahan, Kevin McGarrahan, Brandon Hartman, James Ellinwood, Mike Mitteness, Ricky Rinderknecht. Honorary pallbearers are Shane Moffett and Corky Cochran.

Visitation is scheduled for December 16, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Faye was born March 4, 1915 in Idabel, Oklahoma and passed away on December 13, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clell and Tinnie Cox; husband of 46 years, Aubrey Wilmer McGarrahan; grandson, David McGarrahan; great grandson, Andrew McGarrahan; brothers, Van Z. Cox, Nolan Cox, and Lowell Cox; sisters, Iona Cox and Donnie Wilburn.

Faye is survived by her son, Ronnie McGarrahan and wife, Reta Gaye of Conroe, Texas; son, Kenneth McGarrahan and wife, Arlyene of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Launa Ellinwood and husband James; Jan Rinderknecht and husband Ricky; Kevin McGarrahan and wife Aileen; Dewayne McGarrahan; Kristi Hartman and husband Brandon; Tori Mitteness and husband Mike, and Tempe Ross; great greandchildren: Allison, Amber, Jessica, Ryan M., Caden, Ciana, Genna, Alyssa, Brannon, Ryan R., Aubrey, Christian, Nick, Cole, Reed, Gray, Taryn and Blake. Numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

We would like to thank Dr. Shane Simpson, his nurse Linda and his entire staff for the loving care they have shown our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Also, we would like to thank Traditions Hospice, and Rosemarie with Gentiva and Heritage Oaks for their care and love for our mom.
