""Grandpa"" Arthur Vaughn

Arthur George Vaughn ""Grandpa"", age 93, of Livingston was born on July 31, 1919 in Salem, Missouri to his parents, George Elmer Vaughn and Alice Anna (Maganzer) Vaughn and passed away on November 4, 2012 in Livingston. He was a member of the Giddeons and enjoyed wood working in his spare time.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George E. and Alice Vaughn; loving wife of 50 years, Margaret Vaughn; brothers, James and George Vaughn; son-in-law, Jerry Lamb.

""Grandpa"" Arthur Vaughn is survived by his daughter, Geraldine Lamb, of Willis; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Kirby ""Clint"" Thetford, of Livingston; three grandsons, Arthur ""Artie"" Moore, of Livingston, Clinton Eugene Thetford, of Eastland, Christopher Lee Thetford, of Traverse City, Michigan; four great grandchildren; brother, Elmer Vaughn, of Terrehaute, Indiana; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Midway Cemetery in Livingston with Bro. Robert Smith officiating the services. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post 8568.
