Graveside services for Greg Rasberry, 79, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Greg was born January 5, 1947, in Woodville, Texas and passed away in his home on April 9, 2026, at the age of 79.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carel and Evelyn Rasberry.
He is survived by his wife Sadie Rasberry of 49 years and stepchildren Gary Wayne Kessler and Mindy Kotesky.
He is also survived by his sisters Roselyn Shirley and Carolyn Einkauf and one brother Guy Rasberry and wife Cynthia Rasberry. His grandchildren, Zachary Manning, Zackary Kessler, Cydney Dorman, Jacob Potor and Carlo Kotesky. Great Grandchildren, Isabella Manning, Dominic Manning, Abel Kessler, Conner Kessler, Kai Manning, and Grantly Kessler. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
His family moved to Livingston, Texas in 1955. Greg attended Livingston High School where he excelled in football and running track, he graduated in 1965. He attended college at University of Texas.
He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 800, Casper, Wyoming. After retiring from the Union, he began pipeline inspection for another 10 years.
He served for 10 years on the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department and diving team.
Greg enjoyed deer hunting and bird hunting, he also enjoyed fishing and loved gardening.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department or charity of your choice in Greg’s honor.
