Obituary
Funeral services for Harold Ray Barrington, age 81, of Leggett will be held Wednesday April 15, 2009 at 10:00am in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Hearren officiating with interment to follow in the Oates Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Templeton, D.J. Whisenhunt, Jesse Oliver, Paul Shirley, Christopher Howell and Michael Templeton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Precinct #3 Polk County Employees.
Harold was born May 25, 1927 in Leggett, Texas the son of Jim and Berta Baker Barrington and passed away Sunday April 12, 2009 in Livingston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elaine Barrington, daughter Lidie McNiel and granddaughter Aletha Templeton.
He is survived by his son Billy McNiel of Livingston, Roy McNiel, son of Leggett, Texas, Shirley & Randy Templeton of Livingston, Nancy & Johnny Simons, daughter & son in law of Leggett, Barbara & Derral Whisenhunt, daughter & son in law of Livingston, 15, grandchildren, 23, great grandchildren 2, nephews, 1, niece, James & Joan Reeves, brother in law & sister in law of Livingston, and a host of other relatives.
Cochran Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
