Obituary

Graveside services for Harold William Hilton, 85, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mt. Rose Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Hilton was born on September 29, 1928 in Seabrook, Texas to parents, Jack Hilton and Loretta (Russell) Hilton, and passed away on February 27, 2014 in Livingston, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; beloved sister, Opal McDowell; and his love of 58 years, Jerry Manier Hilton.

Those left to cherish his many memories are his children. His only son, Nolen Hilton and wife Kathie Hilton of Livingston/Houston, Texas; his devoted daughter, Debbie Hilton Watson and husband George Watson of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Kay Harrington of Livingston, Texas; brothers-in-law, Bill Wiggins of Livingston, Texas and Charles Don Manier of San Antonio, Texas; his ever loving cousin, James Rink of Morgan City, Louisiana whom he adored and always called a brother. Harold had six grandchildren, Brent and Jason Watson, Holly Hilton, Brandie Davis, Samuel and William Clary. He had ten great grandchildren.

Harold graduated from Galena Park High School in 1947. Married his high school sweetheart, Jerry Manier on July 5, 1947. He worked for Western Electric then Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until retirement. Harold was a hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He loved to work on TV's and old radios and there wasn't much he could not fix. He was a devoted son, brother, loving husband, father and grandfather.

Harold, Dad, Papa, you will be deeply missed and always in our hearts. Your loving children, family, friends and Tye your little doggy.
