Funeral services for Harry George Plank Jr, 84, of Livingston, Texas, will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas and will be officiated by Angela Cox. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:30 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, prior to service, with a procession to follow.

Harry was born January 15, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his parents, Harry George Plank Sr. and Ione Marie (Waring) Plank and passed away December 27, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded by his parents; sister, Ione Plank; and grandson, Ricky Edwards.

He was a proud, decorated, 20 year veteran of the United States Army. He served honorably, achieving the rank of Master Sargent. He also served the Polk County community with the Livingston Police Department and the Polk County Sheriff's Department.

Harry enjoyed and loved his family. He also loved his dogs, trail riding, and training his beloved horses.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Plank; daughter, Donna Verrett and husband Mark; son, Brent Barnard and wife Melissa; daughter, Laureen Denison and husband Joel; grandchildren, Jason Barnard and family; Colette Gonzales, husband Lionel and family; Tiffany St. Martin, husband Josh and family; Chelsea Hueske, husband Andy and family; and Zach Barnard, wife Kaley and family; as well as numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other loved ones and friends.

Pallbearers: Brent Barnard, Zach Barnard, Joel Denison, Mark Verrett, Andy Hueske and Brad Mann.
