Graveside services for Helen Lou Burleson, 80, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas with Chaplin Jack Redfearn officiating.

Mrs. Burleson was born September 28, 1938 in Houston, Texas to parents, William Pleasant Knox and Margaret Lucille (Parsons) Knox, and passed away February 3, 2019 in Shepherd, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Margaret Lucille Latham.

She is survived by her husband, Carl W. Burleson of Shepherd, Texas; daughter, Janice Burleson of San Antonio, Texas; son, Vernon White of Kennedy, Texas; daughter, Marsha Miller and Kenneth of Ada, Oklahoma; brother, William Rather of Tomball, Texas; sister, Billie Sarah Anthony of Houston, Texas; sister, Margaret of Colorado; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
