Funeral services for Helen "MiMi" Campbell, 85, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, February 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. James Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Rose Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Campbell was born on July 30, 1928 in New Orleans, Louisiana to parents, Sidney Collignon and Juliette (Culotta) Collignon, and passed away on February 20, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post # 8568, DAV Auxiliary, and the Memorial Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary for 23 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, H.O. "Dick" Campbell; brother, A.L. Holleman; son-in-law, Jim Bailey; and lifelong friend, Dorothy Coker.
She is survived by her daughters, Julie Allen of Livingston, Texas and Carol Bailey of Livingston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Roberta Holleman of California; grandchildren, Robie Allen, Ryan Allen, Christina Bailey and Lauren Bailey; great grandchildren, Blake Allen, Austin Allen, Taylor Allen, and Brennen McBride; beloved caregiver to Dick and Helen, Mary Beth Thompson; lifelong friends, Jimmy and Alma Jean Cassity and Family, Emory and Nell Lowe, and Edna "Gaston" Stuckey; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
