Helen Jean Dees was born May 31, 1931, to parents, A.W. and Ruby Tribble, and passed away February 2, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and sons, Phillip Durden and Bill Tribble.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Dees of Onalaska, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Sonya Durden of Mansfield, Texas; stepson and wife, Charles and Rebecca Dees of Baytown, Texas; stepdaughter, Cynthia See of Spring, Texas grandchildren, Michelle, Nichole, Christina, Joseph, Weston, Rachael, Lauren, and Stephanie; four great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends..
