Helen Elizabeth Yancy, 87, of New Caney, Texas, was born January 9, 1929, to parents, H.B. Combs and Bethrose (Hockett) Combs, and passed away September 1, 2016 in Katy, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Yancy; parents; and sister, "Lady".

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Debra Yancy of New Caney, Texas, and Greg and Elizabeth Yancy of Katy, Texas; grandsons, Christopher Yancy and Shannon of Katy, Texas, Kevin Yancy of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Yancy and Michelle of Tomball, Texas, Marcus Williams and Rebecca of Peculiar, Missouri; great grandchildren, Brayden Williams of Peculiar, Missouri, Alexandria Williams of Peculiar, Missouri, Caroline Yancy of Katy, Texas, Gauge Yancy of San Antonio, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends..
