Henry Boley Thomas 83, of Point Blank passed away Sunday May 4, 2008 in Houston. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 8, 2008 at 10:00AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Livingston, with Bishop Larsen officiating assisted by Sam Thomas and Bishop Boley Thomas. Burial will follow in the Huntington Cemetery at 2:00PM.
Mr. Thomas was born December 31, 1924. He was a master plumber belonging to the plumbing union Local Unit #68 in Houston. Henry was also a member of the Gray Lodge of the Masonic Lodge #329. He was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Navy in WWII.
He is preceded in death by his parents Boley Bronson Thomas and Elizabeth Ann Renfro Thomas, brother Nathan Samuel Thomas and grandson Jason Henry Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Elizabeth ""Betty"" Thomas of Point Blank, TX , daughters and son in laws Betty Joyce Wyatt and husband Joe of Cross Plains, TX, Jackie Marie Fenton and husband Wayne of Bedias,Tx, son and daughter in law Samuel Nathan Thomas and wife Lois of Gilbert, AZ, daughter Suzanne Oakley of Pearland, Tx, daughter and son in law Teresa Ann Bright and husband Alan of Cleveland, Tx, and son and daughter in law Boley Tyrone Thomas and wife Louise of Quinlan, Tx. He is also survived by his sister Helen Elizabeth Mullinix of Liberty, Tx, and his 34 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Douglas Thomas, Norman Bright, Michael Paris, Joe Wyatt, Glenn Fenton, and William Thomas, honorary pallbearers will be Brian Paris, Henry Bright, Samuel Thomas, Jonathan Bright, Nathan Paris, Jacob Bright, David Paris, Scott Wyatt, Benjamin Thomas, Joshua Thomas, Daniel Bright, and Henry Thomas
