Funeral services for Herman Lee Barton Sr., 84, of Point Blank, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at Mt. Capers Cemetery in Oakhurst, Texas. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2022 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel.

Herman was born November 23, 1938 in Oak Grove, Louisiana to his parents, Steve Barton Sr. and Ela Mae (Cupit) Barton, and passed away December 20, 2022 in Point Blank, Texas. He is preceded by his parents; wife, Joyce Barton; son, Herman Barton Jr.; brother, Steve Barton Jr.; and sister, Bobbie Densmore.

He is survived by his daughter, Lavinia Hamilton of Norman, Oklahoma, son, Billy Barton of Point Blank, Texas; daughter, Jacque Barton of Point Blank, Texas; son, Brian Barton of Point Blank, Texas; grandson, William Helmer Jr. of Point Blank, Texas; granddaughters, Jessica Dillon of Seattle, Washington, Tiffany Carter, and Stephanie Ritchey, both of Point Blank, Texas; grandsons, Brian Barton Jr. and Cody Barton both of Point Blank, Texas, granddaughters, Jinne Barton and Paige Barton of Point Blank, Texas; great granddaughter, Sadie Carter; great grandson, Chase Carter Jr.; great granddaughters, Darla Carter, Tara Hamilton, Meshelle Hamilton, Audra Dillon and Misty Rose Dillon; great Grandson, Sebastin Barton; great granddaughter, Riley Barton; brothers, Ronny Barton and Mickey Barton; and sisters, Billie Ratcliff, Hazle Agent, Bonnie Sander, Julie Weaks, Margie Tarver, Dorthey Strayhan, and Brenda McLarrin; as well as numerous other loved ones and friends.
