Mr. Herman Fritz Koehn Jr., 81, of Livingston, Texas was born on June 9, 1936 in Bellville, Texas to parents, Herman Fritz Koehn and Nonie Nell (Brast) Koehn, and passed away on December 28, 2017 in Lufkin, Texas. During his life, he was a resident of the Lake Livingston Area for 26 years. He loved to hunt and fish, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren and family. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Gay Nell (Bennetsen) Koehn of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Terri Gay King and husband, Richard of Aberdeen, Scotland; son, Michael Bennett Koehn and wife, Stephanie of Broomfield, Colorado; son, Mark Douglas Koehn and wife, Tiffany of Hudson, Colorado; grandchildren, Ryan King and wife, Katherine, Taylor Schillaci and husband, Niko, Cody Koehn, Ellie Jo Koehn, Charlie Koehn, Ruby Koehn, Tessa Koehn, Bonnie Koehn, and Audrey Koehn; and brother, Charles Koehn and wife, Yvonne of Cypress, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a future time.
