Funeral services for Herrell Gene Braswell, age 68, of Livingston, Texas will be held Friday May 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Isaacs and interment to follow at 1:00 PM in the Brookside Cemetery in Houston. Pallbearers will be Chris Glaser, Douglas Green, Ed Collins, Caleb Shirley, John Robinson and Joe Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeff Green, Billy Kelly, Greg Shirley, Jimmy Clay and Robert Grigar.

He was born September 24, 1942 in Eva, Alabama the son of H.B. & Opal Smith Braswell and passed away Mary 11, 2011 in Cleveland, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Betty Robinson, Shirley Braswell, 1st wife of 20 years, Patricia Collins, step daughter and Dodie Braswell, 2nd wife of 15 years.

He is survived by Dianna Kelly, step daughter of Clinton, La., Cheryl Shirley, step daughter of Wimberly, Texas, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
