Funeral services for Het Ettema, 79, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Father Abelardo Gabriel, S.V.D. officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the service begins at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Mrs. Ettema was born June 3, 1940 in Vinh Long, Vietnam, to parents, Vang Van Bui and Can Thi (Nguyen) Bui, and passed away June 30, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Gerrit Ettema of Livingston, Texas; son, Jimmy David of Denver, Colorado; daughters, Thuy Osborne and Oanh Bui both of Houston, Texas; brother, Hon Van Bui of Vietnam; and sister, Phat Thi Bui of California; along with numerous other relatives, and friends.
