Obituary

Funeral services for Horace Lamar Duff, 83, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Menard Chapel Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 14, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Duff was born November 10, 1931 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Drewie Jackson Duff and Lora Ann (Williams) Duff, and passed away June 11, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. Mr. Duff was a family man who loved his family and was proud of each one. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. He loved gardening and flowers. He served as treasurer for the Tin Barn Hunting Club for over 50 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; and infant sister, Lois Duff.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Duff of Livingston, Texas; son, Danny Wayne Duff and wife Lynn of Nederland, Texas; son, David Lamar Duff and wife Nita of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Duff, Cody Duff, James Morse, Lacy Fregia; great grandchildren, Riley Duff and Quinton Fregia; sister, Maxine Duff of Livingston, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Doug Walding, John Ed Leggett, Mike Mihelich, Jim Peters, Onnie Puckett, Wayne Munson, Justin Duff, Cody Duff, Leroy Levy, Freddy Duff, Garry Harrison, Charles Duff.
