Funeral services for Hortencia Garcia Lambert, 81, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Quintin Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held on the day of service, from 2:00-3:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Hortencia was born November 28, 1944, in Houston, Texas and passed away September 17, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel G. Garcia and Socorro Rizo Garcia; husband, Donald Lambert; daughter, Rosie; 3 brothers; 1 sister; and 1 great grandson.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Parten and Duane; son, Joe Casas and Serena; daughter, Veronica Hermes and Jimmy; daughter, Becky Casas and Pete Rasco; and brother, Tony Garcia; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Garrett Spears, Brett Alexander, Jim Parten, Derek Parten, Lance Clay, and Wesley Quinn.
