Funeral services for Howard Charles Bass age 70 of Huntington, Texas will be held Saturday May 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska.

He was born June 5, 1940 in Houston, Texas the son of Ivan Earl Bass and Ruth Iline Johnson Bass and passed away May 3, 2011 at his home in Huntington, Texas.

He is survived by Paula Bass, wife of Huntington, Texas, Earl & Letty Bass, brother and sister in law of Houston, Texas, Tammy Barta, daughter of Huntington, Texas, James Barta, Son of Houston, Texas, J.L. Steelman, father in law of Onalaska, Texas, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and numerous sisters in law also survive.
