Funeral services for Howard LaRoe Battise, 69, of Lufkin, Texas will be held Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at the Alabama-Coushatta Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am just prior to the service at the Cochran Funeral Home.

Howard was born September 11, 1956 in Livingston, Texas and passed away July, 15, 2026 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Battise; brother, Jeff Rhoads; grandfather, Hollis Battise; grandmothers, Elvina Battise and Doris Battise; aunts, Gussie Nell Battise and Marilyn Battise; uncle, James Battise.

Howard is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel Kitchen and Jonathan, Dr. Britni Battise-Flores and Tre`; son and daughter-in-law, Niko Battise and Kaylee; grandchildren, Cason Battise, J.J. Kitchen, Brielle Flores and Brynleigh Flores; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
