Funeral services for Hugh Leroy Craig, 77, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Mike Meadows and Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 1, 2018, one hour prior to the funeral service, in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Craig passed away January 29, 2018 in Conroe, TX after a brief illness. He was born October 6, 1940 in Livingston, TX to parents, Lee Roy Craig and Netta Mae Kinard Craig. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bobbie Lee Craig McCollum.

Hugh had a successful 30-year career with Occidental Petroleum and retired in 1995. In retirement, he enjoyed driving cars and delivering watercraft for local dealerships.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Zonna F. Beasley Craig of Livingston, TX; son, Lance Craig and wife, Karen of Livingston, TX; daughter, Tara Craig Owens and husband, Charlie of the Woodlands, TX; granddaughters, Gracen and Hope Owens, of The Woodlands, TX; along with numerous relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are: Stewart Beasley, Brent Bentley, Dale Hill, Darrell Longino, Len Runnels and Randall Sanders.Honorary Pallbearers: Roy Knipe, Roger Bennett, and Central Baptist Church Men's "Brothers in Christ" Sunday School Class
