Obituary
Funeral services for H.W. "Bill" Jackson, 82, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Hewy Jackson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 before the service begins, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Jackson was born October 18, 1931 in Holly Grove, Texas to parents, Jessie Archie Jackson and Damaras (Murphy) Jackson, and passed away June 26, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. During his lifetime he was an electrician for a petroleum company. He is preceded in death by his parents; and son: Brian Lee Jackson.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Jane Yates of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Darrell Murphy of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Glen Goodwin of Livingston, Texas; sister, Joan Kirkland of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Autumn and John Cox, Kabe and Chelsea Murphy, Laurel Goodwin, Jesse Goodwin, Lauren Goodwin, Judah Goodwin, and Elijah Goodwin; great grandchildren, Chloe Cox, Paige Cox, Lev Cox, Hayes Cox, Johnie Kay Cox, Elijah Murphy, and Dan Murphy; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Jessie Goodwin, Darrell Murphy, Kabe Murphy, Randy Van Wagner, Ronald Cox, and John Cox.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
