Obituary
Funeral services for H.Y. Terry, 93, of Livingston, Texas, be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow at the Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Terry was born on March 20, 1924 in Whitehouse, Texas to parents, Hubert Y. Terry and Ida (Nesbitt) Terry, and passed away on April 22, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of over 61 years, Doris Terry; sons, Michael Terry and Bob Stevenson; granddaughter, Leah Stevenson.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Terry-Wilson of Livingston, Texas; sons, Ron Stevenson and Rosie of Magnolia, Texas, James Terry and Ginger, of Pasadena, Texas, and Bill Terry and Debbie of South Houston, Texas; daughter, Carol Dawkins and Bob of Houston, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Judy Stevenson of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
