Graveside services for Ida Katherine Catching, 71, of Woodville, Texas, will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Chris Knox officiating. Visitation will be held at graveside from 1:00-2:00 p.m., prior to the service.

Ida was born August 1, 1952 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and passed away January 20, 2024 in Woodville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. Courtright and Martha Beason Cook Courtright; daughter, Katie Burge; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.

She is survived by her daughter, Shamarie Burge of San Marcos, Texas; sons, Franklin Burge of Dallas, Texas, and Daniel Burge and wife Heather of Kirbyville, Texas; grandchildren, Megan Simmons, Joshua Simmons, Heavenly Reese and husband Steven, Dustin Burge, Roxanne Burge, Elizabeth Welch and husband Dakota, Phillip Murphy, James Burge, Daniel Burge, Jr., Danny Barrow, and Case Burge; 10 great grandchildren; and sister, Pamela Campbell of Winnie, Texas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
