Irene Nelwynn Williams age 35 of Livingston passed away Thursday March 25,2010 in Houston. Funeral services will be held Monday March 29, 2010 at 10:00AM in the Indian Village Assembly Of God Church with Rev. David Busby, Rev. Vernon Poncho and Rev. Rudy Martinez officiating. Burial will follow in the Alabama Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday March 28, 2010 also at the Church from 5:00PM until 9:00PM.

Irene was born March 1, 1975 in Woodville to parents Sidney Poncho and Grace Battise Poncho. She was a proud member of the Beaver Clan, and was also a proud member of her church the Indian Village Assembly of God Church.

Irene is survived by her husband Leonard ""Chicka"" Williams of the Alabama Coushatta Reservation, son Brooks Williams, daughters Anisah Williams and Leiton Willams all of the Reservation, parents Sidney and Grace Poncho of the Alabama Coushatta Reservation, step children Maynard Williams, Simeon Williams, Rayna Williams all of the Alabama Coushatta Reservation, and Jana Williams of Elton, Louisiana. She is also survived by her mother in law Leona Francis of Elton, Louisiana.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Thompson, David Battise, Danny Battise, Clint Poncho, Derek Battise, Eldon Poncho, Larry Langley, and Melanie Battise.
