Irma Lynn Cook was born January 9, 1968 in Livingston, Texas to parents, W.A. Cook and Vivian Lee (Dixon) Cook and passed away September 13, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Lee Dixon and stepfather, Wayne.

She is survived by her father, W.A. Cook and wife, Marcia; brother, Alan Cook and wife Toni; brother, Stephen Cook and wife, Leah; nieces, Kristi Hatton and Christopher, Amanda Cook and Cuy, Stephanie Cook and Lorra Demott; great nieces, Kodie and Gracie; great nephews, Ryder, Truby, and Hunter; along with her extended family of aunts, cousins, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Lynn graduated from Livingston High School in 1986 and moved to the Houston area shortly thereafter. She found her career in accounting and worked as the Accounts Payable Supervisor for Helix Energy Solutions at the time of her death.

Lynn managed her cancer diagnosis and six-year treatment regimen with grace, determination, and an unfailing humor that amazed everyone. Her choice to return to Livingston for hospice care in her childhood home, and to guide those who loved her through the process, proved to be her final gift to her family.

A private service will be held at Magnolia Cemetery, where Lynn will be laid to rest with her mother.
